Distressed Wood

Hi!
I needed something subtle and classy for a formal event. I was thinking black and white, but I ended up with these, wood with ikat-ish chevron.

Woodcarving

Hey! So, I just got back from a LARP trip (which is also the reason I'm a bit late with this post) and I'm still wearing the design I made for this event. I needed something medieval, pale colours that wouldn't show some minor chips and as usual, I didn't really know what I would paint when I sat down to do it. I started with a wooden base (also used in Tribal Chevron and Wooden, Blue and Aztec) and as I was looking at the wooden look I came up with the idea of woodcarving imitation on my nails...

Tribal Chevron

Hello!
I've been quite busy lately, and I barely have the time to write this, so I'll keep it short.

I fell in love with wooden effect with my blue Wooden Tribal mani and I couldn't wait to try it again. These nails were inspired by a phone case I saw on Etsy and then by another very similar one (shown after the jump).

Wooden, Blue and Aztec

I didn't know what to call this post. I did a mani inspired by (well known, inspiring) Chelsea Queen and she calls it Abstract Aztec. It has wooden look, blue colour and aztec motif, so for the title I figured.. whatever.

More on how I did this after the jump.
