Hey there!
Today is a first. First swatch post! I didn't want to do a post with swatches only, so I took some inspiration and created new nail design for this collection I was swatching.
It was China Glaze Road Trip, which has been around for few months already, but for some reason it came to local (=Czech) distributors just about now. I got 6 shades of total 12 of the collection.
My road trip nail art was inspired by a top I bought on my last trip. I wanted to go detailed and really stick with the fabric pattern but I failed there and went with whatever-comes-to-my-mind tribal.
Keep reading for my first swatches and more nail art!

Midnight Tribal
Hey!
I hope you're all having lovely holidays.
I did today's mani few weeks ago, it was supposed to be Christmas themed, but it turned out other way. Still you can see little trees and tiny fish that I painted to get it at least a little bit christmasy.
The day after I painted this I left to Germany for the whole week and I didn't get to take photos with my normal camera. I had to go with my cell phone and as I didn't really have time to play around with nails, my photos are rather bad. Forgive me this time, please.

Tribal Chevron
Hey!
Today's mani was inspired by Very Emily, one of my favourite nail artists. It's all freehand and all Rimmel and acrylics. I loved this surprising colour combo and I knew I would recreate the mani the moment I saw it. For the tribal-ish design, I started with white base, made teal and violet chevron stripes and finished it with black tribal details.

Halloween Tribal
Hello!
Finally. I'm back home from the USA, the trip was awesome but I didn't have time to do my nails or to blog, so I ended up wearing this halloween mani for 14 days (!!). Minor chips occurred but I was pleasantly surprised how long it could last. I'm also a bit late with posting this (a bit? haha, 10 days), as it was meant for halloween.

Guest post at Nerdy & Fleurty
Hello!
Nerdy & Fleurty asked me to do a guest post, the first guest post I ever made.
It was surprisingly enjoyable to write a post for someone else. Head over to the post on ther blog to find out more about this mani, the polishes, the tools, the process. :)

Hipster Nails & Candy Colors Fluorescent Polish #9 Review
Hi!
I'll warn you in advance: this is going to be a long post. I have a review to make. Oh yes, I do reviews now. Like this one. And possibly one more in following weeks. But that's it, so no, I'm not planning to overwhelm you with reviews. Mostly because that would mean overwhelming you with posts in general and I'd rather stick to the one or two per week. Forgive me, lovely readers.
Enough of the bla bla, to the point!
I'm actually not sure, why I painted so-called-hipster nails. I wanted to paint a deer and I had this purple galaxy-like base (below) and one thing led to another...
This is the polish I'm reviewing today, it's hard to tell what it's called from the bottle, but in the BP store they call it Candy Colors Fluorescent Polish.
Keep reading for swatches, glow in the dark photos and most importantly the rest of the design!

H&M Tribal (+tutorial)
Hello there!
About a month ago I entered the H&M with no intentions of buying anything. My intentions had to be quickly reconsidered right after I saw this lovely tribal pencil case waiting for me. Both sides agreed it was love at first sight. No matter how bad I felt for replacing my good old pencil case I had to have this one. Not only for the pencils but also for the design itself, I could see it on my nails that moment already.

Upper Green Side
Hey! Today's title sounds funny, but it wasn't me who came up with it. It's the name of Essence polish I bought and painted my nails with few days ago. To make this a quick mani I just added simple aztec-chevron-ish pattern to the green colour using black and white gel pens.
I also matched my nails to my outfit - or was it the other way? It got all together in my mind somehow.

Moravian Ceramics Inspired
Heey!
With Easter around the corner I wanted to do something Czech related, I was considering traditional Easter eggs, but then I remembered this print, typical for south-east Moravia - my region, I was looking at so many times at my grandma's and wondering, how to replicate it on my nails. Well, I tried!
My inspiration, Tupeská keramika...

Tribal Chevron
Hello!
I've been quite busy lately, and I barely have the time to write this, so I'll keep it short.
I fell in love with wooden effect with my blue Wooden Tribal mani and I couldn't wait to try it again. These nails were inspired by a phone case I saw on Etsy and then by another very similar one (shown after the jump).

Wooden, Blue and Aztec
I didn't know what to call this post. I did a mani inspired by (well known, inspiring) Chelsea Queen and she calls it Abstract Aztec. It has wooden look, blue colour and aztec motif, so for the title I figured.. whatever.
More on how I did this after the jump.

Tropical Tribal (+tutorial)
Hi! I'm in a rush right now, so I'll make this quick. Today's mani was inspired by Coewlesspolish's design from June 2013. My work in nowhere as neat as hers, but hopefully I'll get there one day.
plus these nails looked way neater in person, I swear :D
Oh yes, I chose pretty bright colours; I got bored of winter being dark and dull.
Tuto and more after the jump!

Greyscale Tribal
Hi!
I just bought this Rimmel 803 Man Overboard and there is nothing more inspiring to me than a new bottle of polish. I knew what I was going to do with it the moment I left the drug store.
The right hand was surprisingly easy to do, maybe because I had just two nails to paint?

Stripes and Shapes
Hi, this is a post I wrote about a month ago because I had a suspicion I won't have enough time to write posts later during the school year. In the moment I'm wearing quite unusual manicure, I think I'm going to write the post at the weekend (okay, maybe next week), be sure to check it out then. To the pre-written (surprisingly short) post...
This is one of the first manicures I have good quality pictures of and I didn't menage to publish it until now. It was originally inspired by this design by The Nailasaurus (whom I admire, by the way).

NOTD - Indian Skittlette
Last night I sat down and I knew I wanted to do a skittlette mani, but the question was, what would the main design be. I was lost, no ideas in my head, and in such cases, choosing a polish combo first usually works best. So I chose two colours that I really liked together - Rimmel 405 Rose Libertine and Rimmel 312 Ultra Violet - and tribal came to my head right after that. Problem solved.

Sandy Egypt
Hi!
I've got a bit carried away with this design. It was caused by getting over 100 new followers on tumblr over a night. This might seem like no big deal for an "old" blogger, but I have just started and knowing people ARE interested after being ignored for a while... Well, I got excited and thought I should give you some proper nail art, a lot of photos and stuff. I painted my left hand for this weeks Nail Art Ideas Linkup (join us!) and I've been taking photos (A LOT of photos, because most of them end up being useless) and then I had to try hard to not make this seriously picture heavy as I couldn't decide which pictures to use. I, personally, really like those nail photos where you can see the person in the background (my gurus at this point are Pshiiit and Spektor's Nails), so that's what I'm posting today.
